Choosing Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for Business

If you are planning on settling in the Province of Saskatchewan and establishing and investing in a new or existing business, then this program might be the right one for you. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for Entrepreneurs can help you get into Canada quicker and faster than other federal programs being offered.  Once the Province of Saskatchewan has nominated you then you are eligible to apply to become a permanent resident of Canada.

The Requirements of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) for Business

In order to qualify for this program, you must:

  • Meet the minimum entry criteria so we can help you submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the program;
  • You must have a minimum (Net-worth) of CAD $500,000 (verified by a government-approved third party organization);
  • You must have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant business management or entrepreneurial experience gained in the past ten (10) years;
  • You must invest a minimum of CAD $300,000 in Regina and Saskatoon or a minimum of CAD $200,000 in any other Saskatchewan communities.
  • You must submit a Business Establishment Plan (BEP) that corresponds to the information in your (EOI);
  • You must have ownership of at least one third (33.33%) of the equity of a business in Saskatchewan, unless your total investment is CAD $1 million or more;
  • You must provide active and on-going participation in the day-to-day management and direction of the business;
  • You must create two (2) employment opportunities in Saskatchewan for Canadians or permanent residents (non-relative workers) if establishing a new business in Regina or Saskatoon;
  • You must proof that at least 80% of (Ne-worth) accumulation was made through legal means and this must be verified by a government-approved third party organization;
  • You must have the intention to settle and reside in Saskatchewan with your dependent family members; and
  • You must sign a business performance agreement with the Government of Saskatchewan, which will be sent to you by the (SINP) after they approve your application.

Please note that the Government of Saskatchewan reserves the right to assess the information you provide in your (EOI) against the points grid to rank your (EOI) in the pool of candidates. The government then will select the candidates who have the highest score points. Only the top scoring candidates in the (EOI) will be given the priority for selection.
